Our newly-conceived, robust corecurriculum integrates private lessons with musicianship courses, small andlarge ensemble experiences, master classes, jury assessments and ampleperformance opportunities. The Pre-College meets for 30 weeks between Augustand May, on Saturdays and after school on weekdays. A flat tuition fee ischarged per semester.

儿童早期教学课程申请
Early Childhood Classes – Search for Pre-College classes and select EarlyChildhood in the department list. Select the appropriate class at the time youprefer. Follow the prompts to add the class to your cart and pay at checkout.
All OtherElectives – Search for Pre-College classes and selectthe class you prefer. Follow the prompts to add the class to your cart and payat checkout.
儿童早期教学班——搜索“Pre-College classes”（大学预科班），在学部列表中选择“Early Childhood”（儿童早期教学）。根据个人的时间安排取向选择合适的教学班。按提示指引将所选教学班添加至“购物车”并进行缴费。
学费制度
Base tuition for comprehensive study is$4500 per semester. Electives vary in price. Tuition and fees are listed andcharged per semester, but students must commit to classes and private lessonsfor the entire academic year. A non-refundable application fee of $50 ischarged for all new students. A non-refundable registration fee of $25 ischarged for each semester a student is enrolled. Payment must be made at thetime of online registration. If unable to pay semester tuition in full,families may choose our installment payment plan for a modest fee.

Applications are available in thePre-College Division office or online here. The deadline for scholarshipapplications is April 1 each year or returning students and at the time ofaudition for new students. Scholarships are awarded based on the joint criteriaof merit and demonstrated need.

A one-time refundable library deposit of$50 must be paid by all new students. This fee does not apply to EarlyChildhood students, who are not eligible for library privileges.
全体新生都必须一次性上交图书馆保证金50美元。儿童早期教学班学生无需缴纳此项费用，同时也没有使用学院图书馆的权利。
The Pre-College Division provides nomake-ups for students who miss classes or lessons. If instructors cancel a class or lesson, amake-up session will be scheduled.
预科学部对于旷课学生不作补课处理。但若是教员取消课程，将为学生安排补课。
关于学费退款
Notice of withdrawal must be received inwriting. The date notice is received will serve as the withdrawal date.
仅承认书面形式的提款通知。提款日将以上交通知的日期为准。
Comprehensive Enrollment: Students whowithdraw before the first day of class will receive a refund of all tuitionminus the non-refundable fees and a $500 deposit. Students who withdraw afterthe first day of class will be charged all fees and a portion of the tuition.Refund amounts are pro-rated based on the date of withdrawal. In addition tothe $500 non-refundable deposit, the Conservatory will retain 10% tuition perweek of the semester, through the seventh week. There will be no refunds afterthe seventh week of classes. Any scholarship awards will also be pro-rated whencalculating the refund.

Elective and Early Childhood Classes: Studentswho submit notice in writing before the second class meeting will receive a 50%tuition refund less the non-refundable application and registration fees. Norefunds will be made after the second class meeting.
对于选修课程与儿童早期教学班学生：在开学后第二节课前办理书面退学的学生将收到初不退款项目与注册费外的50%学费退还，开学第二节后不设学费退还。
